African Express BoxLock Double Rifle When you need a trustworthy weapon the Africa Rifle with its proven double triggered Anson & Deeley action is the ideal rifle to have in your hands. A robust, double-barelled gun, it has Purdey triple bolting and a long top tang to cope with big nitro express cartridges. The chopper lump barrels are made from Bohler chrome steel tubes. The front trigger is articulated and firing pins are replaceable. A forend sideways lever produces great locking power. Supplied with a fixed gold "V" notch sight and a front bead plus one leaf sight. |
Venus Express Sidelock Double Rifle  The Venus Express is a classic double triggered double hunting rifle. Built with tremendous strength and reliability, Purdey triple bolting, long tang and Bohler chrome steel barrels, the Venus Express Rifle has sidelocks of a patented Famars design, fastened to the over size side plates by integral pinning which allows no play even after considerable use. The front trigger is articulated to avoid bruising and the safety mechanism has a device that prevents double discharge. |
Rombo 4-barreled shotgun  The Rombo is a truly unique gun for the connoisseur, collector and bird hunter. It has four chopper lump barrels - available in 28 and .410 gauges only, making it a delight for the enthusiast. The technical skills demanded to design and make lockwork which fires consecutively and sequentially using just one trigger are considerable and show the talents of the Famars gunmaking team at its best. Automatic ejection is another unusual feature. Safety is manual. A hand made sidelever is available on request. |
Castore Hammer Gun  The Castore is an exclusive side by side hammer gun which combines 19th century traditional lines with 21st century technical advances. The external hammers are a work of art in themselves. The gun is automatically cocked on opening but the hammers may also be cocked manually. To complete the style of bygone days, the chopper lump barrels follow tradition by being ‘browned' instead of the modern blacking. The Castore is a gun for the enthusiast, traditionalist and collector. It can be built also without automatic cocking and ejectors. |
Venus Sidelock Shotgun  The Venus sidelock is the highest grade side-by-side made by Famars and features exclusive patented Famars lockwork. The lockwork is mounted on solid steel side plates with integral pins which creates a mechanism of great strength, this endows the gun with a longevity that is probably unequalled. The uninterrupted external face allows the engraver more freedom than with locks pinned through the plate. The barrels are chopper lump and Venus is normally supplied with a straight English stock and forend but a pistol grip or beavertail forend are options. |
Tribute Drop Lock  The Tribute is built on the Westley Richards style removable lockwork system. A supremely elegant gun, classic in style with thoroughbred lines. The locks, hidden beneath the removable floor of the action are a wonder of simplicity with each lock having just four moving parts. The floor of the frame, released by a small positive latch is so well made that neither water or oil can penetrate the joint. The actions are scaled to size and options are spare locks, single trigger and automatic safety. Chopper lumps barrels are standard. |

Zeus  The smooth elegant rounded shape of the action frame contains an Anson and Deeley type action, one of the most reliable of actions ever devised. The lockwork is housed within the steel body of the frame, making the Zeus extremely well balanced and easy to handle. Normally the Zeus is supplied with double triggers, with the front trigger articulated to prevent finger bruising. A single trigger is optional. Zeus is supplied with chopper lump barrels. |
Sovereign  The Sovereign is the highest grade over and under in the Famars portfolio. Built with immense strength the Boss style action has oversize wall dimensions and extra large buttresses to minimise wear. To assist rapid loading, a wide gap is essential and Famars have devised and patented a unique hinge to the end of the forend iron which enables the barrels to swing down further than is normal with conventional over & unders. The sidelocks are a patented pinless Famars design leaving the sideplates clear for uninterrupted engraving. All parts are milled out from solid steel using CNC machines. All frames are scaled to size. |
Pegasus  The Pegasus is the perfect gun for frequent and heavy use. Its rounded body is built to withstand prolonged and continuous use both in the field and at competition. The Famars patented sidelocks are mounted on solid steel plates and are integrally pinned. The frames and all parts are machined from solid steel and all surfaces of the locking lugs, recesses and hinge pins are carefully hardened. The Pegasus is built entirely to the clients ideals in a square or round frame, in field, sporting, trap or skeet versions - in proportional frames with automatic ejection and manual safety as standard. All frames are proportioned to the gauge. |
Excaliber Sporting  The Excalibur model is available in the Sporting version featuring monoblock barrels, single selective trigger, Briley chokes. It has superb balance and the long forcing cones in the barrels reduce recoil to a minimum. All the moving parts and the frame are milled out from solid steel adding reliability and precision to the entire system. The bolsters have been designed to add elegance to the already distinctive round shape. This way the gun looks otstanding even if lightly engraved. Easy replacement of the main spring. |
Excalibur Box Lock  The Excalibur BL is a stylish, tremendously strong over & under shotgun that features a patented Famars removable single trigger mechanism. A long life is ensured by carefully hardening all points of wear and contact. The action, because of the size of the lock mechanism, is extremely compact and elegant giving superb balance and the monobloc barrels have long forcing cones to reduce recoil to a minimum placing the Excalibur in a class of its own. All parts are milled out from solid steel using CNC machines. All frames are scaled to size. |
Excalibur Round Body  Described by an American reviewer as the sexiest gun on the market, the Excalibur BL Round's distinctive shape makes it stand out from the crowd with its slim rounded action. Identical otherwise to the Excalibur BL, the Round will give long life even with heavy wear. The shape of the stock, and engraving are to the client's choice. Options available are automatic safety, spare trigger mechanism, a rounded top rib and multi chokes. All actions - from 12 bore to .410 are scaled to size. All parts are milled out from solid steel using CNC machines. All frames are scaled to size. |
